UK Invests for Students How to sign up

How to set up your UK Invests for Students account:

Step 1

On your smartphone or tablet click on the sign up link and log in using your linkblue ID and password.

go.uky.edu/UKInvestsSignUp

Step 2

After reading and accepting the terms, click on the button: Download the Fidelity® App to Open a Brokerage Account.

Step 3

Follow the prompts to download the Fidelity Mobile® app.

Complete the brokerage account setup in the app. Have the following information available:
- Your official/legal name per your government-issued ID
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Permanent home address (not your UK campus address)
- Driver's license or another government-issued ID

This is standard information required when opening a brokerage account.

Step 4

Once your account has been successfully connected, you'll receive an invitation to the UK Invests for Students Canvas where you can explore earning opportunities.

You can also find eligible events in BBNvolved throughout the semester.

After Your Account is Opened

Earn money.

After you complete the incentives that include building healthy habits like going to tutoring, hitting the gym or taking online finance courses, UK will transfer your earned money to your UK Invests for Students account. Transfers will be made every two weeks.

Watch your money grow.

Choose among the investment options offered in the Fidelity app. Then, let time do its thing and watch your investments grow during your time at UK and beyond.
